About Umag City

The beginnings of organized tennis programs in Umag go back to the eighties, when, in response to guest’s demand for a tennis school, all the tennis coaches were gathered and Istraturist Tennis Camp was established. The tennis camp reached its peak in the nineties when, thanks to some enthusiastics, the Umag ATP Tournament was founded – a tournament that even today continues to win many awards and acknowledgements by all the eminent tennis professionals and federations. A rich tradition of tennis camp in Umag was continued by the famous Tennis Academy Niki Pilic.
